Surgery
The Department of Surgery treats not only malignant diseases such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, and pancreatobiliary cancer, but also benign conditions such as bariatric and metabolic disorders, hernias, and pediatric surgical diseases. A variety of surgical techniques—tailored to each patient’s condition—are utilized, including laparoscopic multi-port/single-port surgery and open surgery. The department also provides treatment for hemorrhoids and other benign anal diseases, varicose veins, and offers a 24-hour emergency surgical system/service for abdominal emergencies.
